Spring has been commissioned as a creative partner by the Eastern Enterprise Hub, and as a first project we’ve created a fresh, contemporary design for the organisation’s Superstars brochure and we’ve just taken delivery of the finished brochure.
The colourful brochure, which profiles the Hub’s ‘Enterprise Superstars’, reflects the Hub’s energy in supporting Suffolk’s potential entrepreneurs. Young people are at the heart of the its work and the brochure’s engaging design will encourage them to engage with the entrepreneurs who offer mentorship and business guidance.
Brigit Parker, Marketing and Communication Manager at the Hub, said, “We’re thrilled with the brochure. It’s bright and engaging – fully in line with our brand identity and aspirations”.
It is the Hub’s belief that personal success stories are the best means of inspiring people. “Often, hearing someone else’s story is the inspiration you need to find your own inner entrepreneur,” says Celia Hodson, Chief Executive of the Eastern Enterprise Hub. The entrepreneurs’ inspirational case studies form the bulk of the brochure’s content.
We are delighted to work on a project which encourages growth in our region and nurtures business potential, and the Superstars brochure makes this information accessible to everyone.

I thought I’d share with you a sweet little project we’ve just completed for the National Trust – a weddings marketing piece for Coggeshall Grange Barn.
This 13th Century Monastic barn in Essex is a lasting reminder of the powerful Coggeshall Abbey, and was probably built in around 1240. Previous owners included Henry VIII – the irony of it now hosting wonderful weddings would, I am sure, not escape him.

Today we are celebrating the succesful completion of Visit Suffolk’s ‘Suffolk Breaks’ brochure project for 2011.

This year our brief was simply “Suffolk is beautiful: make this beautiful too”. So we did.
When Bex got over the fear anyone feels when they first see their baby in print, and once we’d all sniffed the pages, we’ve loved looking through the big box of brochures which was delivered today.

It’s strong on paper! We’re over the moon! We gave 110%! It’s all to play for!
Yes, it’s that time of year again – as the football season nears its conclusion, the Mark Harrod catalogue has come out. It’s been Spring’s second year working with Mark and his team and we are delighted with the end result of this – 92 pages jam packed with football, hockey, cricket, tennis and athletics gear (amongst others), as well as the amazing pop-up soccer stadium, Soccerena, and all manner of training kit for clubs and schools.

Mark Harrod is going from strength to strength. The business’s eponymous owner is a true entrepreneur, who relishes inventing useful things that solve problems, then patenting them, then getting them made in club colours. He doesn’t just go the extra mile, he goes the extra ten.
Much of the kit he sells is made in the UK, in a factory just outside Stafford. The head office is based in Beccles from which his team – many of them family members – are working hard to keep this fabulous company growing healthily, irrespective of the economic climate.
This year’s catalogue is a fitting representation of a great British brand and we’re proud to be involved.

We are delighted to celebrate the arrival of O&C Butcher’s first catalogue – and, my, it’s pretty!

Credits: The design was created by Glen ‘Daddy’ Cone with the vision from Spring’s resident fashion maven Lizzie Hirst. Photography by Simon Hazelgrove in Aldeburgh using models from Sandra Reynolds. Print by Fuller Davies. The very happy client is James Stacey of O&C Butcher, Aldeburgh.
