Intern’s Blog: Day Five | Allowed out
Allowed out today. I had free rein of Southwold to deliver the new Spring promotional flyer to local businesses in the town. After having last week off, I came back to Spring today to find the printed version of a creation I’d been helping with … and it looks good!
The sun was shining, the shopkeepers friendly, and the town buzzing (as always). Also nice to see so many local businesses: you’d be hard pushed to find a chain store in Southwold. So, if you’re a local business, get in touch with Spring.
Also looking this week at My Suffolk, a site for visitors and locals alike to contribute to the Suffolk ‘visitor book’. I’m being encouraged to drum up submissions to the site – so make sure to click and collaborate! It only need be a few lines – here’s someone’s recent submission to give you an idea -
I’ve lived there all my life
My Suffolk is very special to me because I’ve lived there all my life. I love going to the beach and experiencing the occasional rainforest-like rain! I like shopping in Beccles, Southwold and Lowestoft. I also enjoy sailing in Oulton Broad.

Looking forward to a helicopter ride tomorrow! Going to the big smoke … but from above – to watch Simon capturing some aerial shots of a (hopefully sunny) London afternoon! Very excited, and very nervous.
Finally, apologies for the lack of blog entries last week – I claim to have been working on the flyer all Thursday & Friday…
